this part was my favorite part of the jaime scenes because
- i can think of a million guys who, if they were approached by a girl despite being late for school, would totally think “oh man hot chick” before anything else and be all trying to act cool for them or whatever
- and jaime also has AN ALIEN TECHNOLOGY IN HIS SPINE and HEARS A HOMICIDAL VOICE IN HIS BRAIN and FIGHTS CRIME DESPITE BEING ONLY LIKE 14 IN THIS UNIVERSE
and yet his first thought in this situation is
“oh man, i am so late for school”
